Twelve and a half hours,
one steady rhythm.
Children settle when they know what happens next. Here's the shape of a normal day. The times shift a little by room, the order doesn't.
Doors open
Quiet arrivals. Books, puzzles, and a lap if it's been a rough morning. Breakfast is served until 8:00.
Morning meeting
Songs, the weather, the calendar, and what we're working on today. Short for toddlers, longer for Pre-K.
Frog Street learning blocks
Small groups at learning centers: letters and sounds, counting, building, sorting, writing. Teachers rotate so every child gets adult time.
Outside
Gross-motor play on the playground. In summer we go earlier and add water play.
Lunch
Family-style at the tables. Children serve themselves what they can and we talk about the morning.
Rest
Mats, lights low, quiet music. Infants nap on their own schedule. Non-sleepers get books and quiet activities.
Snack and centres
Art, dramatic play, music, and sensory tables. This is where the mess and the best photos happen.
Afternoon and pickup
Outside again if the weather holds, then calm activities. Your Procare recap posts before you arrive.
Meals, naps, and the practical stuff

Breakfast, lunch, two snacks
All included. Menus post weekly in Procare. We handle common allergies, so tell us at enrollment and we'll plan around it.
Rest time, not forced sleep
Everyone rests on a mat with lights low. Children who don't sleep get books and quiet puzzles instead of lying still for two hours.
Outside every day we can
Morning and late afternoon. Houston summers mean water play and early outings. Send a hat and a spare set of clothes.
